Our beliefs
Signature Awakening Ministries, Inc (SAM) is governed by the statements explained here, which are the non-negotiable fundamentals. The Bible is accepted as a sufficient rule of faith and conduct. The wording used in this statement is neither inspired nor indisputable, but the truth presented is essential to a ministry of an apostolic and prophetic character. It is not claimed that this statement contains all biblical truth, only that it encompasses our need regarding these foundational doctrines.
- In essential beliefs, the ministry will endeavor to maintain unity.
- In non-essential beliefs, the ministry will endeavor to maintain liberty.
- In all beliefs, the ministry will strive to prioritize love above all things.
- There is unity in thought and purpose. (Ephesians 4:4-6)
- Each of us has our own beliefs and convictions.
- As a ministry, we unite in what WE believe.
- There is freedom but not decadence. (Romans 14:1, 4, 12, 22)
- The goal is not to resemble the world.
- The external appearance does not define us.
- There is love. (1 Corinthians 13:2)
- We agree to disagree and place love first.
- We prefer to maintain connections rather than win arguments.
- Divine revelation of God to mankind (Psalm 119:160; 2 Timothy 3:16).
- Both the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God and are meant to be revealed through the Holy Spirit to draw the believers to God, transform their minds, strengthen their faith, and guide their journey (John 1:1-3; Luke 8:11; Romans 10:17; Hebrews 4:12).
- Endurable and applicable to all generations and cultures (Hebrews 4:12).
- Accounts presented in the Bible are genuine and have been verified throughout history.
- Eternal, having always existed outside of time and space. (Revelation 1:8; Romans 1:20)
- A single Being who is all three persons of the Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- Maker of Heaven and Earth, of all things visible and invisible.
- The only Son of God, begotten from the Father before all ages, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made; of the same essence as the Father. (John 1:1-3)
- Through Him, all things were made.
- He was incarnated by the Holy Spirit and the virgin Mary and was made human (Matthew 1:23).
- While on Earth, He was 100% man and 100% God, and voluntarily chose to live as a human. (John 1:1-2, 14; Philippians 2:6-8)
- Jesus is the perfect representation of the Father. (Hebrews 1:3)
- He was without sin, suffered, was crucified, and was buried. Then, on the third day, He rose again.
- He ascended to Heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
- He will come again with glory to judge the living and the dead.
- His kingdom will never end.
- Jesus is the only one true God and it is the only way to Heaven.
- He is God, a Person, not a force, feeling, or object.
- Active today to help people have a relationship with God and exalt Jesus.
- Active today to empower every believer to follow Jesus Christ more victoriously.
- The present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
- Made in the image of God.
- Created man and woman according to their biological nature. By biological, it is understood their gender at birth.
- Fallen from innocence due to a willful choice to do wrong. Thus, mankind is destined for eternal separation from God.
- Provided an opportunity to be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ, not because of human effort and good works, but through faith alone.
- Invited to have a relationship with Jesus Christ, repent of sin, and be regenerated through the power of the Holy Spirit.
- There is One Church, established by God to operate with:
- The gifts of the Father (Romans 12:1-8): Prophesying, Serving, Teaching, Encouraging, Giving, Leading, and Mercy.
- The gifts of the Son (Ephesians 4:7-11): Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers.
- The gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:7-11): Words of Knowledge, Prophecy, Speaking in Tongues, Interpretation of tongues, Wisdom, Faith, Healing, Miracles, and Discernment to distinguish between spirits
- All these gifts are available, relevant, and active today.
- The gifts of the Holy Spirit shall operate in harmony with the Scriptures and shall never be used in violation of Biblical parameters. (1 Corinthians 12:4)
- All gifts are available to all believers, and they are free to exercise them. (1 Corinthians 12)
- IN THE BODY OF CHRIST: a declaration of our union with Christ and a result of our salvation by faith. It is by virtue of coming into covenant with Jesus that mankind has a new birth and becomes part of the body of Christ and his eternal life. (Ephesians 1:4-5; Galatians 3:26-27)
- IN THE WATERS: a public declaration of our salvation received by faith through Jesus Christ. It should be by immersion as a symbol of identification with death (to sin) and with the resurrection of Jesus for eternal life. (Romans 6:4, Matthew 28:19)
- IN THE LOVE OF ABBA GOD: an experience at the moment and subsequent to salvation, where we were immersed in His love according to the Scriptures: "What love the Father has lavished on us in letting us be called God's children." Those baptized in His love, which is supernatural and everlasting, have the strength to love and forgive themselves, their neighbors, and God (not that He has wronged us, but our lack of understanding of Him) and overcome all fear. (Jeremiah 31:3-4; Matthew 22:37-39; John 3:16; Romans 8:15; Romans 8:31-35; Galatians 4:6; 1 John 3:1; 1 John 4:18)
- IN THE HOLY SPIRIT: an experience at the moment and subsequent to salvation, with the physical evidence of speaking in other tongues. Tongues are the only gift meant to edify the believer himself. (Acts 2:4; 1 Corinthians 14:4)
- IN THE FIRE: an experience at the moment and subsequent to salvation, where the believers are empowered to complete their assignment on Earth with the power of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 1:8, John 14:12, Mark 16:17)
- It is hopeful for the Christ-follower because of the imminent, physical, and visible return of Jesus Christ to establish His Kingdom of a new heaven and new Earth at a date undisclosed by the Scriptures. (Revelation 21)
- The Church is a victorious church called to occupy the seven mountains (religion, family, education, government, media, arts & entertainment, and economy) until He returns.
- A holy, monogamous marriage between one man (at birth) and one woman (at birth). (Genesis 2:24)
- We reject any relationship that does not align with the teachings of the Bible, including but not limited to any union outside of a man (by birth) and a woman (by birth), such as any gender identity, homosexuality, cohabitation, premaritalsex, and adultery. (1 Corinthians 6:9–10; Galatians 5:19–21)
- A divinely ordained institution of God. (Matthew 19:4-6)
- The basic unit of a healthy society.
- We believe that our ministers can only carry out their duties, such as (but notlimited to) preaching, teaching, and officiating weddings, within a strictly biblical foundation (2 Timothy 2:15) and in accordance with the above statement on marriage.
Our team
Signature Awakening is Christ-centered and Holy Spirit-empowered. Jesus is the one who receives "power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing" (Revelation 5:12). This ministry is not about the team and their gifts but about exalting Jesus. Any teaching or ministry is only worth pursuing if Jesus is exalted. When Jesus shows up, the Holy Spirit shows off!
Vijay’s passion is to reach the current generation for Jesus while being passionate and on fire for Him, and experiencing miracles, signs and wonders.
Carlos is passionate about God and His supernatural power while training the young generation to manifest the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth.
